Congratulations on choosing to audition for Timpview Dance Company! We get to experience everything from halftime shows to assembly routines, and concert performances. Dancers on Dance Company experience dance as both an entertainment and art form, all while growing close together as friends for life.

You will have until June 6th at midnight to learn and film yourself dancing a hip hop combination, contemporary combination, and create a minimum 45 sec solo implementing certain technique requirements. These audition combinations can be filmed in any space you have available (grass, dance studio, community center, church center, etc.) Once you have learned and filmed these three different parts, you will submit them to the google form titled, “Timpview Dance Company Audition Submission Form.”

As you can imagine, Timpview Dance Company requires a great deal of commitment. As you consider auditioning for Dance Company, it is essential that both you and your parents/guardians are aware of the requirements that must be met in order to earn and maintain a dancer’s placement on Company. Please thoroughly read through the materials provided below. We are looking forward to casting the 2022-2023 Dance Company and wish you the best of luck throughout your audition process.  For students who do not have access to video / cell phone video equipment, Ms. Malia Arnell will be available at Timpview High School to help May 31st and June 2nd from 10am to 12 noon.

¡Felicitaciones por elegir la audición para la Compañía de Danza de Timpview! Llegamos a experimentar todo, desde espectáculos de medio tiempo a las rutinas de montaje, y las actuaciones de conciertos. Los bailarines de la Compañía de Danza experimentan la danza como una forma de entretenimiento y de arte, todo mientras crecen juntos como amigos para toda la vida. Estas audiciones serán únicas este año con el cambio de directores.

Tendrás hasta el 6 de junio a medianoche para aprender y filmarte bailando una combinación de hip hop, una combinación contemporánea, y crear un solo de mínimo 45 segundos implementando ciertos requisitos de técnica.
