College & Career Readiness Program

Plan for Your College and Career Readiness!

What do you want to do after high school? Work with your School Counselor to make your post-high school plans now! Counselors will want to meet with parents/guardians and students in 9th grade and 11th grade to help you make and review these plans. This is called the Plan for College and Career Readiness (or just “CCR“) meeting. Counselors will also customize your high school experience to help connect you to your college and career goals now.

Students, to prepare for this meeting, please complete the following:

  1. Complete the full career aptitude survey through YouScience.
    • If you need a login, or to reset your login, please contact Lisa Pulver in the Library.
  2. Consider taking classes that fulfill Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathways that relate to your career and college goals.
  3. (Freshmen only) complete a 4-year plan worksheet.
  4. Engage in enrichment and extracurricular activities.
  5. Learn about college and career admission processes.
  6. Participate in college and career affordability planning.

CCR Meeting Scheduler

Parents, please make arrangements to attend your child’s College and Career Readiness meetings with your counselors. Counselors typically like to meet with 9th graders in October and 11th graders in February-March.
