The mission and vision of Timpview High School is to empower every student to become college, career, and life ready by embracing growth, inclusion, and excellence. All that we do, including running and maintaining our online presence, should highlight those goals. 

With this statement in mind, Timpview’s Social Media Account is designed, and used, with the purpose to empower our students and Timpview community. Posts, stories and videos are posted with the purpose of showing growth of our students, including our diverse population, and celebrating the excellent students we have here. This avenue should be used to show student achievement in academics, service, clubs, athletics, and performances! It is also used to communicate student opportunities, events, and special announcements.  

Although our social media account may occasionally highlight a student’s outside achievement in an area, the focus should be on highlighting student academic, athletic, leadership, service and performing achievements within our many Timpview programs. Our social media accounts are not to be used to promote individual businesses or careers. 

Decisions on what to post are ultimately left up to the administration team at Timpview High School.
