Gerald Scarzella

Hello! My name is Gerald Scarzella and am a recent hire to Timpview High School as a math teacher. It’s great to be here, and I’m excited for a new school year. Alaska was my previous home for 19 years, but have now moved here to the wonderful state of Utah with my wife and two young adult children. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics Education from BYU here in Provo. Since then, I have attained Masters degrees from Colorado State University and the University of Alaska in Statistics, Educational Leadership, and Educational Technology. I love learning!!

Hobbies of mine include fishing, archery, flamenco guitar playing, unicycling, juggling, film photography, and computer coding. The photo here is my largest King salmon caught in Ketchikan, Alaska. It was 39 pounds! I look forward to doing outdoor activities here in Utah.

I look forward to sharing my love of mathematics, statistics, and computer programming to students here at Timpview. 🙂
