TIMPVIEW HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS ANNOUNCEMENT
Timpview High School is excited to announce our New Softball Head Coach, Heather Evans. Heather has been an athlete her entire life, and has a sincere passion for developing athletes. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Heather began playing softball and basketball at a young age. She played softball and basketball throughout high school and at the college level.
Along with softball, Heather is also a strength and conditioning coach, she has focused her coaching efforts softball and strength and conditioning for the last ten years.
Heather is married with five kids, three girls and two boys, whom she loves to spend all her time with. When she isn’t coaching or hanging out with her kids she loves to Mountain bike, Snowboard and Beach vacations are her absolute favorite!
We would also like to announce that joining Heather’s staff is AJ Romero. AJ played Division I softball for the University of Hawai’I at Manoa from 2007-2010. She was a captain on the 2010 team and led the Wahine’s to the programs first Women’s College World Series. AJ was an Assistant Coach at BYU from 2017-2022 and has been giving private hitting and defensive lessons since 2009.
Coach AJ is married with two kids, whom she loves to spend her spare time with.Come out and meet Coach Evans and Coach Romero, everyone is invited to Meet the Coaches on November 14, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the Library. Light refreshments will be served. See you there, Go T-Birds!
