Hello Students,

Believe it or not, it is already time to start thinking of your class schedule for next year. Here is important information you will need to select the courses that work best for you:

January 12, TODAY: You can now go to Class Choice to select four classes to visit during Timpview’s annual Course Fair you will participate in on January 31st.

January 24, Wednesday: There will be a parent (and student if you would like) meeting in the new Great Hall on Wednesday, January 24 at 5:00 PM to go over registration information and to answer any questions. 

January 31, Wednesday: There will be a Course Fair during the school day on Wednesday, January 31 to give you an opportunity to learn about elective or other non-core classes that interest you. (You can now go to Class Choice to select four classes to visit. There will be a Homeroom Schedule on Thursday, January 25 where your 2nd period teacher will be able to help you with this process if you are experiencing any trouble. 

February 1 – February 16: You will be able to select your 2024-25 classes as early as Thursday, February 1, the day after the course fair. The window to select your classes will close on Friday, February 16. You can begin to familiarize yourselves with next year’s course offerings by accessing the 2024-25 Course Catalog, which can be found on our website or at this link Timpview Course Catalog & Course Offerings 2024-2025 More instructions will come soon about how to use ClassChoice to select your classes for next school year. 

February 8, Thursday: There will be a 9th Grade (current 8th graders) Registration Open House on Thursday, February 8 at 6:30 PM in the Timpview auditorium. 

March 14, Thursday: After all of you have selected courses for next school year, ClassChoice software will be used to schedule all student schedules. You will be able to see your 2024-25 schedule in ClassChoice on Thursday, March 14. 

March 19, Tuesday: On Tuesday, March 19, there will be a time during the school day where you will run through your 2024-25 schedule to make sure you know where your classroom will be and that you are in the class of your choice.

March 31st, Friday, 2024-2025 CLASS REGISTRATION DEADLINE: If you feel that you need to change something about the schedule that you get, please see your counselor before the end of March. We want to have a smooth start to next school year and we want schedules to be in place this March with no class changes happening at the beginning of the school year. Please see the proposed Timpview Class Change Policy which is attached. Please email your school counselor if you have any questions.

Hola Estudiantes,

Aunque no lo crean, ya es hora de empezar a pensar en su horario de clases para el próximo año. Aquí tenéis información importante que necesitaréis para seleccionar los cursos que mejor se adapten a vosotros:

12 de enero, HOY: Ya puedes ir a https://classchoice.provo.edu:7443/index.html para seleccionar cuatro clases que visitarás durante la Feria Anual de Cursos de Timpview en la que participarás el 31 de enero. 

24 de enero, miércoles: Habrá una reunión de padres (y estudiantes si lo desean) en el nuevo Great Hall el miércoles 24 de enero a las 5:00 PM para repasar la información de inscripción y responder a cualquier pregunta. 

31 de enero, miércoles: Habrá una Feria de Curso durante el día escolar el miércoles, 31 de enero para darle una oportunidad de aprender sobre clases electivas u otras clases no centrales que le interesan. (Usted puede ir a https://classchoice.provo.edu:7443/index.html para seleccionar cuatro clases para visitar).  Habrá un Homeroom Schedule el jueves 25 de enero donde tu profesor de 2do periodo podrá ayudarte con este proceso si tienes algún problema. 

Del 1 al 16 de febrero: Podrás seleccionar tus clases para 2024-25 a partir del jueves 1 de febrero, el día después de la feria de cursos. La ventana para seleccionar tus clases se cerrará el viernes 16 de febrero. Podéis empezar a familiarizaros con la oferta de cursos del próximo año accediendo al Catálogo de Cursos 2024-25, que podéis encontrar en nuestra página web o en este enlace Timpview Catálogo de Cursos y Oferta de Cursos 2024-2025 Pronto llegarán más instrucciones sobre cómo utilizar ClassChoice para seleccionar vuestras clases para el próximo curso escolar. 

8 de febrero, jueves: Habrá una Casa Abierta de Inscripción para 9no Grado (actuales 8vo grado) el jueves 8 de febrero a las 6:30 PM en el auditorio de Timpview.  14 de marzo, jueves: Después de que todos ustedes han seleccionado los cursos para el próximo año escolar, el software ClassChoice se utilizará para programar todos los horarios de los estudiantes. Usted será capaz de ver su 2024-25 horario en ClassChoice el jueves, 14 de marzo. 

Martes 19 de marzo: El martes, 19 de marzo, habrá un momento durante la jornada escolar en el que repasarás tu horario 2024-25 para asegurarte de que sabes dónde estará tu aula y de que estás en la clase que has elegido.

31 de marzo, viernes, FECHA LÍMITE DE INSCRIPCIÓN DE CLASES 2024-2025: Si crees que necesitas cambiar algo en el horario que te han dado, por favor ve a tu orientador antes de finales de marzo. Queremos tener un comienzo sin problemas para el próximo año escolar y queremos horarios para estar en su lugar este mes de marzo sin cambios de clase sucediendo al comienzo del año escolar. Por favor, consulte la propuesta de Timpview Política de Cambio de Clase que se adjunta. Por favor, envíe un correo electrónico a su consejero de la escuela si usted tiene alguna pregunta.
