LI (DE) courses run on the UVU schedule & calendar. Students participating need to block out high school A/B periods to attend these college classes. Students MUST meet with Miss Anneke Boy or Mrs. Lisa Pulver in the Media Center for High School class scheduling and to get UVU CRN for course registration.

UVU Admission Application for LI (DE) program is April 15 – Aug. 18, 2025

Students MUST be admitted to UVU to enroll in DE courses

Admission to UVU is FREE through the high school Concurrent Enrollment program at www.uvu.edu/concurrent. Click Registration and “Step 1: Apply to UVU” and apply through the Public and Charter School Admission Process. (If you currently participate in UVU concurrent enrollment or have done so in the past this step has been done) Students in DE courses may be required by the UVU instructor to purchase a textbook, eBook, course access code, Canvas materials, supplies etc. in addition to paying low tuition of $5 per credit hour.

UVU Fall LI (DE) courses begin WEDNESDAY, August 20, 2025

Note: Passing the AP English Composition exam with a score of 3, 4, or 5 equates to ENGL 1010 credit at UVU. AP scores MUST be sent to UVU directly from the AP College Board PRIOR to registration in ENG 2010 or PHIL 2050. Log on to your AP College Board account before June 1st and request scores be sent to Utah Valley University. Students may also enroll in the ENG 2010 & PHIL 2050/205G courses Spring semester by passing ENG 1010 with a C grade or better.

Fall 2024 Registration Deadlines

(LI/DE deadlines are different than high school Concurrent Enrollment deadlines)

  • Wed Aug 18: Last day for fall admission to UVU for DE students – Different than Concurrent Enrollment’s Deadline
  • Wed Aug 20: First Day of Class
  • Wed Aug 20: Last day to submit ACT scores on high school transcript to CE office
  • Mon Sept 1: Labor Day – No School
  • Mon Sept 8 Online registration ends
  • Oct 15 Last day to drop DE class without a W (Student receives 100% tuition refund)
  • Oct 16 Tuition/Fees due by 11:59 pm.
  • Oct 29 Registration for Spring 2022 begins
  • Nov 13 Last day to to drop DE class WITH a W
  • M-F Nov 24-29    UVU Thanksgiving Break
  • FRI Dec 5 Last Day of Class Instruction
  • M-F  Dec 8-12 FINAL EXAMS (modified schedule)
  • Dec TBA Final Grades Post to College Transcript
