We are Tutoring 4 YOUth, a group of students currently attending (but not affiliated with) BYU who have created a platform to help high school students get through their classes during this challenging time. We offer free online tutoring available through Zoom. It is available six days a week, all throughout the day, and without any sign up Zoom necessary.

This will be our second semester doing this service, and we are excited to announce that we now have the capacity to reach out to more schools than previously and that we’ll be able to help more students excel and receive the educational help they need during this pandemic.

Regarding how the service works, we have multiple tutors available during each hour of the day, and the Zoom meetings are already created. The web cameras for the meetings are disabled, so all the students need to do is join the meeting (by clicking on the links on the website) and begin asking their questions. For safety reasons, we have at least one tutor and one proctor for each Zoom meeting to ensure that the tutoring session remains safe and strictly educational.

Our tutors are local college student volunteers. On our site, each tutor has listed the subjects they are studying or excel at, so that the students that need help on a specific subject can select a tutor who has extensive knowledge in that topic.
