Here are the February 2025 Shout Outs:

  • Thanks to our HOPE Squad who led a great HOPE week this month!
  • Thanks to our Student Government for planning a great Sweethearts Dance at Sleepy Ridge Golf Course
  • Thanks to our Counseling, Admin, and teacher for hosted a welcome night for our incoming freshmen for next year
  • Thanks to all our Juniors who came to Higher Ed Day and found out more about college!
  • Thanks to our girls and boys basketball teams who hosted Timpview Alumni at their games this month. The alumni include Coach Wildeboer and some of his players who won 3 state championships, as well as, the 1996 girls basketball team who won state!
  • Congrats to Dance Company who was able to perform at a Jazz game this month
  • Congrats to all our cheer seniors who had their senior game this month
  • Thanks to all students who registered for their courses for next year
  • We had over 20 students go to the Capitol for a day on the Hill with their Congress members. 
  • Cheer for placing 1st in Sideline Cheer at Nationals in California!
  • Ballroom had a great trip to California where they competed in the California Open Dancesport
  • Oliver Oteo and O’Nella Laititi placed 5th at State Wrestling!
  • Thanks to all who participated in our Culture Assembly this month (Mariachi Club, Latinos in Action, People of the Pacific, k-Pop, Emma Sinca, Maria Mataeki and our Spanish, French & Chinese classes!!!) Thanks to our MCs, Sara Blanco Parra and Aisa Galea’i! Also a special shout out to our tech, sound, lights and stage crew!
  • Jane Hendegren was highlighted by Deseret News as an “once in a lifetime runner!”
  • Thanks to all our student-athletes who tried out for Spring Sports! We are excited to cheer on all the Spring Sports!
  • Jane Hendegren  & Lily Alder placed 1st & 2nd at the Simplot Race this week in the 3200m. Jane set a record with a time of 9:37!
  • Creed Ford (Film Production) & Veronica Gao (2D) won the Reflections contest at the state level and now move onto Nationals
  • DECA all placed in the top 10 of state and many made it to finals
  • Elayna Warr placed 2nd for Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Gracie O’Day placed 4th in Congress & Tiffany Cabrinha placed 2nd for Interpretation. These, as well as some other students, placed in the top 10 and will advance to state!
  • Our new wing of the school opened this month and this included a brand new parking lot for students and a one lunch schedule for everyone!
  • Thanks to all the seniors who came to the ribbon cutting to celebrate and get a tour of the new wing
  • Orchestra and Choir had an amazing time in California on their tour!
