Important Concurrent Enrollment Information

UVU Spring Admission and Registration Now Open!

Students in a second-semester high school Concurrent Enrollment (CE) class, be aware that all UVU Spring semester deadlines will occur in January within the first weeks of the new semester. Students should review their schedules and plan NOW to be prepared in class for college credit opportunities before UVU deadlines listed below, as the second semester begins on January 7, 2025.

Steps to Register

  • Step 1: Apply to UVU.
    • Be sure to select Utah Valley University (UVU) as your preferred institution – it’s free to apply.
    • Your UVID will then be emailed in 24-48 hours or can be found on MyUVU.
    • Check for any account holds and ensure previous tuition payments are cleared.
  • Step 2: Register for Classes.
    • Log into MyUVU student portal and register for the college course credit available in your high school class.
    • Ensure prerequisites are met and recorded before registration.

Important UVU Deadlines

  • UVU CE Spring Admission Opens: September 30, 2025
  • UVU CE Course Registration Begins: October 29, 2025
  • UVU Admission Application Deadline: January 20, 2025
  • UVU Prerequisite Deadline: January 23, 2025
  • UVU Course Registration Deadline (No Late Fee): January 23, 2025
  • UVU Last Day to Register (with $15 Late Fee per Course): January 27, 2025
  • UVU Last Day to Drop a Spring Course (No “W”): February 10, 2025
  • UVU Tuition Due: March 10, 2025
  • UVU Last Day to Withdraw a Spring Course (with “W”): March 20, 2025

GPA Requirements for Concurrent Enrollment

  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 for participation in academic college courses
  • Minimum overall GPA of 2.0 for career and technical college courses
