Cast Your Vote for Jessie Jorgensen by this Sunday

Go to Preps Magazine and scroll down on homepage to lower left-hand corner and cast your vote. If you refresh page you can vote more than once.

Preps Magazine returns this school year with its sponsored athlete of the week award, called the Edge MVP. The program is sponsored by Edge Homes.

Each week, we select five candidates, alternating weeks between male and female athletes, as nominees as that week’s athlete of the week. Voting will take place Monday through Sunday night on our website at PrepsMag.com and the winner will be announced Mondayon our website when five new candidates will be announced for the next week.

At the end of the school year, we will draw the name of a male and female student athlete from among our weekly winners, and those two athletes will receive a $1,000 college scholarship from Edge Homes and Preps. Last school year, softball player Taylor Allman of Provo High and baseball player Chandler Day from Snow Canyon won the scholarship drawings.

The purpose of this email is to let you know that Jessie Jorgensen of Timpview volleyball is one of our candidates this week, competing with  four other top volleyball players for this week’s honor. We thought you might want to put the word out to the campus community to invite people to go to www.prepsmag.com to vote for Jessie between now and Sunday night.

Also, you may want to check back in a couple of weeks. We alternate weeks between male and female nominees. We struggled to choose between Jessie and Lauryn Dela Cruz as a candidate and decided that we may come back with Lauryn as a nominee in two weeks as we transition into basketball season, where she is also a top athlete.

Fans can also follow updates from day to day and week to week by going to our Facebook page –Preps Magazine – and liking the page.

thanks,             Kurt Johnson
