New 9/6/2010 Homecoming Week Activities Announced for Sept 7th - 11th

Tuesday: Tourist Day (Lunch Activity: Send a friend a postcard)
Wednesday: Tour de France/Sports Day (Lunch Activity: Ride you bike to school, mini bike race in the commons)
Thursday: Generations Day (Freshmen- babies, Soph- Elementary Age, Juniors- Adults, Seniors-Senior Citizens) (Lunch Activity: awkward family photos, $1 each)
Friday: Spirit Explosion (Fresh- orange, Soph-blue, Juniors-white, Seniors- all school colors)
Friday: Single Homecoming Assembly:
            1/2          7:30  am to  8:40  
            3/4          8:47  am to  9:57   
           Assembly 10:00 am to 11:00
            5/6         11:07 am to 12:17
           Lunch       12:17 am to 12:58
           7/8            1:05 pm  to  2:15
Friday: Pep Rally after school. Classes will be interrupted 2-3 minutes before school ends by the band going through the halls and leading students to the pep rally
Friday: Football Game (New Student/Freshmen tailgate held before game)
Saturday: Homecoming Dance, "A Night in Paris," 8-11pm

New 9/6/2010 Double Assembly Schedule Eliminated

Student government, with administrative support, decided to eliminate 'Double Assemblies' for the school year. The assemblies affected are Homecoming (9/10/10), Sub 4 Santa (1/12/11), and Stars (3/2/11). These assemblies will now function as 'Single Assemblies'. See the new single assembly schedule below and on the Bell Schedules link.

Temporary Schedule Adjustment Next Week - Aug 30th - Sept 3rd

In addition to this coming Monday, next Thursday and Friday will be a collaboration schedule (See Bell Schedules Link).

This is required to plan for the first two days of Intervention on the following week day's, Sept 9th & 10th.

 Timpview ACT Prep Course Offered

Dates to Remember:

August 9– Pay  & Sign up in Counseling Center
(Enrollment limited, first come/first served)
Sept. 1– Pretest 5:00 pm in Media Center
Classes Sept. 8, 15, 22, 29, Oct. 6 and 13
ACT Prep Instruction every Wednesday evening at Timpview from 6 - 9 pm

Great Preparation for Oct. or Dec. ACT Exams

Cost: $50 (pay in business office and then take receipt/registration form to counseling center)
Fee includes pretest, 18 hours of instruction, personal copy of The REAL ACT Test Guide

Course will be administered by personnel with over 15 years test prep instructing experience
